self whether he would have bothered to even address the issue, if he was from my own country. In a country like Liberia, described by one of its citizens, Rufus S. Berry 11, as having “a chronic, pervasive problem with sexual immorality”, I am amazed that a national outrage could attend the shameful misbehaviour of Mr. Knuckles, although, there were muffled noises here and there about “human rights” like the one contained in the unedifying article by Professor (Ms.) Francien Chenoweth Dorliae, in the March 3 article of The Perspective. A public officer need not be told that there is a minimum standard of conduct expected of him, and that he loses the right to behave anyhow once he is appointed into such an office.
ologize for its (mis)behaviour. Such an “abnormal” conduct is totally alien to the militarized sensibilities of the grand emperors that rule us from Abuja.

Iyabo Anisulowo's unfounded allegation cannot be put on the same pedestal as the Willis Knuckles Saga. You ought to have given readers a little background on Iyabo Anisulowo before you elevate her irrelevant rantings into truth. How did she get a job as Minister under Sanni Abacha Dictatorship? So, if a candidate loses Party Primaries and decides to make wild unfounded allegations against those whose support she failed to secure this writer wants Govt to dignify her rantings with a response. Is it not the same party leaders that made her a Senator? Why dont you ask her to be brave enough to mention those who asked her for sex? Why is this allegation coming after loss of Party Primaries? If Govt were to respond to this type of allegations Govt will not have time to govern. There is absolutely no basis for comparison with the Liberian Case. Nigeria's women Public Officers are responsible women with better education and family virtues than alleged in the frivolous statements credited to this fraustrated loser e.g. Dora Akunyili, Nnenadi Usman, Ita Giwa, Okonjo Iweala, Prof Ogu, Remi Oyo etc etc Only Anisulowo alleges harassment. PDP is a Political Party made up of responsible Nigerians who do not need the likes of Anisulowo. The irresponsible and reckless allegation is indeed unfortunate and should not have been made by a person of the Status of Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The liberian Case was founded and factual.
