It is of utmost importance that the author of the book knows his onions. Emeka Ozumba is a 1987 graduate of Mass Communication. He has well over 25 years’ experience in marketing communications with a bias for crisis and political communications/public affairs. His expertise in strategic communications, advocacy and stakeholder relations is much sought after. Prior to being a political office holder, he was the Managing Consultant at Ozion Limited, a government/public affairs and media advisory consultancy based in Abuja, FCT, until March 2014. From 2006 to 2010, Emeka was the Practice Leader in Public Affairs at C&F Porter Novelli Lagos, Nigeria’s leading business advisory consultants where he honed his public relations skills while successfully managing communications programmes for blue chip firms such as MTN, Etisalat, Stanbic IBTC, Actis and several public sector accounts. In 2005 he was the Project Coordinator, Reputation Management, for the Office of the Senate President. He is currently the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Anambra State. He is a Member of several professional associations including the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (MNIPR) and Nigerian Institute of Management (MNIM).
