The End Times are characterized by wars, threats of wars, bombings and all sorts of atrocities, GOD; the Father is shaking the world in order to sanitize the world of all sins. The failure of the financial system is the result of corruption by powerful groups in government and industry.
These frightful events will cause the Earth to be filled with the knowledge of GOD as “water covers the sea,” thus bringing the desire of all nations to GOD, the Father through Jesus Christ. (Habakkuk Chapter 2:4)
Why are governments so concerned about bailing out the failed banks? Karl Marx was right when he wrote that” the governments in capitalist states are the committees that carry out the will of the bourgeoisie” Last week, I re- read “Das Kapital”, in German. It was like a revelation.
When I first read the three volumes, things hung in the air. The current world-wide financial melt-down has provided the empirical evidence to test the veracity of Marx-Engels-Lenin disquisitions, which Western scholars have disputed with great energy and learning.
Their pet theory was that demand and supply were the indices to be watched in free markets and that market forces should be allowed to regulate business. September 2008 will go down in economic history as the month when market forces surrendered to manifest incompetence and corporate greed, while free markets became fettered, chained by the iron law of regulation. My critical mind is beginning to see the whole financial travail, as contrived. I may be wrong, but anything in real coma needs time to recover. By what magical conjuration are the depressed banks recovering so soon?
Perhaps, we have to explore new socio-economic theoretical postulations, but I hold that the “Era of Atonement” will yield the experience for the new quest for a new equitable, societal organization, in which Africans and Asians must sit on the high tables in the Council of Nations.
The old order has changed, not that it will change. The clamour for “change” in America will not succeed in curbing the dangers we are in. As Dwight Eisenhower observed the “hostile ideology, global in scope, atheistic in character, ruthless in purpose and insidious in method”, which the United States will continue to face makes it difficult for America to lower its guard.
Dwight Eisenhower stressed this in his farewell speech, which he delivered on 17 January 1961. He noted that “A vital element in keeping the peace is our military establishment. Our arms must be mighty, ready for instant action, so that no potential aggressor may be tempted to risk his own destruction” He warned though, that “ In the council of government, we must guard against the acquisition of unwarranted influence, whether sought or unsought by the military-industrial complex. The potential for the disastrous rise of misplaced power exists and will persist”.
The difference between Senator Barak Obama and Senator John McCain is that while the former is seeking for ways and means to improve the economy and “bring back the captivity of Zion” (Psalm 126:1), McCain is nostalgic about the days of chivalry, when roving Admirals sailed away to faraway places fighting for the fatherland, utterly abandoning their children to mother care.
McCain does not and cannot yield to entreaties that fighting in Iraq till 2013 will bankrupt America. In spite of all preaching to dissuade him, he is of the same opinion still. John McCain wears the attitude of a man, who is too sure about his misjudgements and he strongly holds the view, “I will not learn and nobody can teach me.”
Such a president has no need for advisers, the press and public opinion. With a Vice Presidential candidate, who talks before thinking and who does not know what the Bush doctrine is, let alone the Hallstein doctrine, America should take a deep breath. ”Our tragedy today is a general and universal fear so long sustained by now that we can even bear it.” William Faulkner (1897-1962).
The victory in Iraq which McCain talks about can only come about after many surges, which would involve the deaths of American soldiers, Iraqi soldiers and civilians and trillions of dollars. He is extravagantly pleased about the surge in which young soldiers died on both sides. What blood runs through John McCain’s body?
Edward Kennedy had posited in a speech on the Iraq war on 7 October 2002 in Washington, that,”The question whether our nation should attack Iraq is playing out in the context of a more fundamental debate that is only just beginning an all-important debate about how, when and where in the years ahead our country will use its unsurpassed military might”.
Events have shown that “unsurpassed military might” does suffer occasional degradation, when the objective of some wars is questionable. We saw this in Vietnam and are seeing it more clearly in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Let me imagine in one hallucinating moment that John McCain wins the presidency by default. A week later, he orders the “bombing of Libya” a la Reagan. His adviser tells him that George Bush had reconciled with Libya. Then he orders the” bombing” of North Korea. A reporter tells him that Pyongyang has been taken off the terrorist, rouge state list.” What of Iran and Venezuela” McCain asks.
Mr. “President”, they are armed to the teeth and Russia has left behind a formidable arsenal of military equipment and military intelligence officers trained by Putin. Russia seems poised to grant credit to needy Western nations in order to win new friends. This generous disposition can be gleaned from Russia’s credit to assist Iceland to ameliorate the impact of the global financial melt-down.
The Russian press and some commentators are euphoric about the Russian resolve to tackle its unresolved problems in a strategic manner through new relationships.
“What of Fidel Castro?” McCain asks. “He is in retirement and occasionally writes articles denouncing imperialism. That is not enough reason to “invade” Cuba, the Democratic political turn-coat, Joe Lieberman, now a McCain supporter, tells Mr. McCain. Panama’s Manuel Noriega is in jail; Morris Bishop is dead, so also is Salvador Allende, Ernesto Che Guevara, Patrice Lumumba, etc. So, John McCain will have to remove his military binoculars and face the economy, but can he?

New Euro-American governments, which opposed populist ideologies, will erect monuments to honour all political thinkers and martyrs, just like the Catholic Church apologized for killing some scientists before the Era of Enlightenment. New socio-economic ideas must be canvassed. Rare thinkers, who see beyond their times always get into trouble with short-sighted leaders and political under-achievers.
As a result of the role money has played in the enslavement of Africans, Asians and Latin Americans, a new World Order, which would usher in the “Era of the Gentiles and the Brotherhood of Man” is imperative. It is the only way to ensure world peace and harmony.
Above all, war should not be used as an instrument of national policy, in accordance with the Brian-Kellogg Pact of 1928. Wars are a drain on the economy and human beings get killed in wars, not goats or rams! When will politicians realize this!
The present international division of labour, whereby developing states supply raw materials at the prices developed states dictate and the latter sell their finished goods to developing states at the price they dictate, is a permanent injustice. No amount of aid will make up for the blatant anomaly that exists in the international system.
One noted the frenzied eagerness with which Western and other governments came to the rescue of the big banks. Had one million citizens sought the same relief, no government would have bailed them out! The Western leader, who had the best grasp of the financial crisis, is the British Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. After he put his constructive and workable suggestions on the table, Germany, France and Austria, implemented his proposals to bail out the Banks in their various states. Things will stabilize, but at whose expense?
Man-made security arrangements have failed. So will satanic scientific establishments and financial systems. As the Age of Spirit Consciousness advances, the only security one can be sure of is the one that flows from the TRIUNE GODHEAD. “In all His works most wonderful, most sure in all His ways” All over the world, the Spirit is moving because it is time for GOD to act and establish His authority.
It is usually said that “men are created equal,” but those who have money, which they may have gotten through unwholesome methods, are elevated by society above those, who have little. Although GOD takes “pleasure in the prosperity of His servants”, He frowns upon the extortion that some pastors engage in, playing upon the fears caused by governmental lack of care.
Money has caused Satanism and Mammon worship to be raised to the rank of a religion before a jealous GOD. After the Glorious Church has been established all over the world, this would facilitate the Second Coming of our Lord, Jesus Christ. In Ephesians, Chapter 5:27, it is written that “Jesus Christ must come to the Glorious Church without spot, wrinkles and without blemish.” Then, there will be rapture for only true believers not mammon worshippers.
“We are watching, we are waiting for the dawning of that glorious day. For the coming of our Saviour with His Saints in bright array” For yet a little while. And He who is coming will come and will not tarry” (Hebrew Chapter 10:37)
As long as money, blood money, stolen money, ill-gotten money create conditions which prevent GOD from being magnified, man will be cast down and will not be able to rise. Those, who believe in the Most High GOD, money will be their footstool. I know because “the lip of truth shall be established forever. But the lying tongue is but for a moment” (Proverbs 12:19). Governments, which lie to the people, destroy their confidence.
The present money crunch has exposed those leaders, who yesterday seemed to have all the answers. People should form their “ISUSU” associations, so that their monies can flow around them, instead of depositing their money in banks. My grandfather never gave his money to any bank for safe-keeping. He kept the whole lot under his pillow. He dared any thief to try and come there. He had a tomahawk under his bed.
Although money is the root of all evil, under the capitalist socio-economic arrangement, without it you are damned!
Money provides comfort and gives confidence to its right possessor. It is a torment if ill-gotten. It also induces unnatural behaviour and cynical disposition. You either control money or it will control you. Those, who are in the business of speculative endeavours with money, will always discover that “Much will have more and lose all”.
Most rich people are as hard as the man, who, our Biblical one talent servant lambasted above. Honor de Balzac tells us that “anywhere you see wealth; there is always an element of crime”. A thief is easily identified because of his unearned glory. His riches do not shine through because in how he came by his ignoble money, his conscience, if not misplace will continue to tell him, in slow speech. His shifting eyes, avoidance of his former friends, lavish, unjustifiable spending, all these will confirm the views of Honor de Balzac.
The seeds of the wicked, who kill for money, will face perfect justice. GOD is overturning the Kingdom of the wicked. “For GOD is not mocked, what nations and people sow, they shall reap” (Gal 6:7).Those who fight wars for booty will face the wrath of the Triune GOD because all through recorded history, their paths have been strewn with ruin and misery and the way of peace they have never known. Today, a spiritual revival is important characterized by celibacy, asceticism, prayers, meditation and daily songs of praise, so that we may be enveloped by globular clusters and enjoy cosmic radiation.
